A 35-year-old woman has ended her life by jumping into the river from the old Gandak bridge of Hajipur Nagar police station area. The incident happened late last night. When the woman jumped into the river, some passers-by informed the SDRF team about the incident, after which the SDRF team conducted a search operation in the Gandak river, took out the body and kept it on the other side of the river towards Harihar Nath OP.

Harihar Nath OP police informed the police of Nagar police station. After which the police officer of the city police station took the body of the woman in its custody and sent it to Sadar Hospital Hajipur for post-mortem. The body of the deceased woman has not been identified. The age of the woman is said to be around 35 years. The deceased woman was wearing a red colored saree and sweater. Police is busy identifying the body of the woman. At present, the body will be kept in Sadar Hospital Hajipur after post-mortem. Regarding the incident, it is being told by some people that the woman, fed up with family troubles, has jumped into the Gandak river.
